Zion National Park, Utah

Zion is already on our list of places to come back to in the future. The hikes are supposed to be amazing according to the banter I heard in the ladies' room. This time it was just a convenient stopover on the way to Yellowstone, and we got lucky snagging the ONE available tent site in the whole park, a cancellation (thanks for the tip Bert and Marcia).

  2. I visited Zion on the road from Vegas to Lake Powell. Pretty spiritual place. Always got me that it had a Hebrew name instead of something Anasazi. But what the hell do I know: I'm white....
