This one is for the Placebo fans out there … all five of you. I managed to get my hands on the new album deep in the heart of Mormon country of all places. Androgyny and Mormonism probably don't go well together. Or maybe they do. I don't aim to find out anytime soon. However, my ears didn't seem to mind. I was actually a bit concerned the boys had lost their edge when I first heard the singles preceding the album release. But, fifteen seconds into the opener and I was pretty impressed. After a complete listen, the aforementioned singles made more sense and are starting to grow on me. I'm a second listen in and I like it more than the first. I wanted to keep this quick so I will. I like this album. Being on the road and hearing something new from your favorite band is a special thing.
